TO REMOVE EYE MAKEUP
What: Mascara Off Eye Makeup Remover Wipes
Brand: Eyeko
Why: I got these wipes from the Eyeko press officers around two months ago and have been using them non stop. So good to remove eye makeup, as the name suggests – they were made precisely to remove mascara et all -, and the trick I’ve learnt for the best performance is to press the wipes on your eye for a few seconds before gently rubbing, to dissolve the makeup and make it come off easier (this tip actually works for any makeup remover + cotton pad, give it a try). Available at Space NK and Eyeko’s website.

TO WASH THE FACE
What: Cleanser
Brand: Eve Lom
Why: This cult product is on the hall of fame of the solid cleansers category. The super dense balm melts and becomes an oil when you apply on your face, to then massage it and remove it with a damp muslin cloth – besides cleaning, it really leaves the skin soft and moisturised and happy. I love the effect, but also the fact that it becomes a lovely night ritual, that can get much more elaborate than what I said, including with facial massage movements and ways of using the muslim cloth warm and cold. There’s a detailed how to on the leaflet that comes with the jar. I don’t use it every day, just to make it more special, and like to alternate with the Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm, mentioned on Vic Loves a few weeks back. Available at Space NK.

TO COLOUR THE EYES
What: Quickliner for Eyes Intense
Brand: Clinique
Why: Being a fan of products that allow maximum impact with minimum effort, you can imagine eye pencils are high on my “can’t live without” list (my 7 looks, 1 eye pencil video really shows how much you can do with just this one product). The Clinique Quickliner Intense range is one of my favourites – the eye pencils are super pigmented, soft and easy to draw lines that dry and stay put, but has a texture that works well for smudging for a intense smoky look. Also, I love the shades, many great color options to vary from the obvious black/brown, those I call “colourful neutrals” like navy blue, moss green, dark purple… Available at Sephora.
